If your career had a remote control, would you change the channel?

Did you know that 80 percent of people polled hate their job? It’s crazy that most of us spend over one-third of our day doing something we hate. And we do this for 40 or 50 years of our lifetime.

What if I told you that in as little as a few weeks from now, you could be doing the kind of work you really love?
Is that too quick of a turn-around for you? Well how about in a year from now? Do you think you could be doing what you really want in a year from now?

The biggest question I ask people is, do you even know what kind of work you want to do? (It’s ok if you don’t, but if you do you’re doing better than most.)

Many people have an idea of what they want to do, but they are afraid to say it out loud. They don’t want people to know for some reason. So what I ask is, what business you would start if there was nothing stopping you? We’re only in the thinking stage and this is a safe place so just say it. C’mon don’t be embarrassed. (If you know what it is, say it out loud.)

Do you want to open a restaurant…or perhaps become a photographer? Maybe you want to be a writer or artist of some type?

I’m sure that the idea of a different job seems more interesting than what you’re doing now or you wouldn’t be looking at this site right now. But let me ask you this, have you ever left one job and just to start another and after the newness wears off, you’re right back where you started mentally–hating every minute of it?

You want to feel like your career matters and that your work makes a difference. You want to be doing something that you’re passionate about, right?

I let you in a little secret; you are not the only one who feels this way. More than 500,000 people a month search for the keywords, “Self-Employment,” on Google alone. And millions of people search for words like: “Find your passion,” “Entrepreneurship,” or “Start your own business,” every month as well.

So what can you do to find your true calling?

Hi,
My name is Doug Wallace and for the last 10 years I have researched and studied how people have followed their passion and made a career out of an idea they wanted to pursue.

After studying these ordinary people who do extraordinary things, I decided I wanted to make a career out of helping others pursue entrepreneurship. This is why I called my website and Career of H.O.P.E.

My mission is to help at least 100,000 would-be entrepreneurs over the next 10 years to take the next step to pursue their business idea.

I’m going to do this in 3 Steps: First, by providing information about creative entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Second, I’m going to provide different marketing techniques that entrepreneurs use to create massive action.

And finally, I help people one-on-one to the next step in starting their business or pursuing their next career.
